Last week we welcomed both Fermanagh Trust and the Energia Group who came to see first hand how the school had spent the money we had received from the Teiges Wind Farm grant application in last years round of funding. Here we received a grant applied for by the Friends of Saint Mary’s, which was used to help redevelop the pond area, allowing children to enjoy pond dipping and observation activities in the newly improved space.
The funding was also used to support resources aimed at improving numeracy and STEM education, alongside the development of an after-school cookery club.
